We now offer an un-pigmented base for you to add your own pigments!  Base is simply our Milk Paint Formula with no pigment added. Some of our customers like to add their own ‘universal tinting colors’ or other water soluble pigments to obtain colors other than the ones we carry. If possible, use ‘lime proof’ pigments as the lime in the paint tends to bleach out color.  Base on its own will be translucent.

Our line of all-natural milk paint has been especially formulated for walls (but can definitely be used on more than just walls – its amazing on furniture!). From previously painted surfaces to new wallboard with joint compound, Farmhouse Finishes Safe Paint is self-priming and provides a flat, consistent finish. Water resistant once cured. Mixes easily at high speeds with a portable kitchen mixer or drill paint paddle.

Farmhouse Finishes is a true milk paint which comes in a powder form.  Our Milk Paint is environmentally safe and non-toxic. There is a slight milky odor when it is applied, but it is completely odorless when dry.  Our milk paint is 100% VOC free and is made with all natural earth materials.
